The learning problems affect one in 10 children in school age. They are problems that can be detected in children from 5 years of age and are a major concern for many parents as they affect school performance and interpersonal relationships of their children.
A child with learning disabilities often have a normal level of intelligence, visual and auditory acuity. It's a boy who strives to follow the instructions, in focus, and behave well at home and at school. Its difficulty lies in capturing, processing and mastering tasks and information, and then to develop them later. Children with this problem simply cannot do that others with the same level of intelligence can be achieved.
The child with learning problems has patterns unusual perceive things in the external environment. His neurological patterns are different from other children of the same age. However they have in common some sort of failure at school or in your community.
How to detect problems of learning in children
Not difficult to is detect when a child is having trouble processing the information and the training received. Parents must be alert and aware of the signs more frequent indicating the presence of a learning disability, when the child:
-It is difficulty to understand and follow tasks and instructions.
-Presents difficulty to remember what someone have just you said.
-Not mastered the basic skills of reading, spelling, writing, and/or mathematics, by what is failing in school work.
-It presents difficulty to distinguish between right and left, to identify the words, etc. Its tendency is writing the letters, words or numbers upside down.
-Lacks it coordination to walk, do sports or carry out simple activities, such as holding a pencil or tie the cord of the shoe.
-Presents easy to lose or get lost their school supplies, books and other items.
-Has difficulty understanding the concept of time, confundiéndo the "yesterday", with the "today" or "morning".
-Obvious irritation or excitement with ease
